Common questions

The verdict says STOP but I feel fine. What gives?

The verdict is about tonight's sleep, not how alert you feel right now. Caffeine can still affect sleep even when you don't feel wired. Last Coffee estimates what may still be active around bedtime.

How is the cutoff time calculated?

It's the latest moment today when adding one more standard coffee (95mg by default) would still keep you in the GO band around bedtime. As you log drinks, the cutoff slides earlier.

Why does my widget say something different than the app?

Widgets refresh on iOS's schedule, so they can lag behind the app for a while. If you've just logged a drink, open Last Coffee once to force the latest state. If it still looks stale, remove and re-add the widget.

I drink decaf. Does that count?

Decaf usually has a small amount of caffeine. For accuracy, add it as a custom drink with the actual mg. For most people, decaf has little impact compared with regular coffee.

Can I change my caffeine sensitivity?

Settings → Strictness. Three profiles: Relaxed, Normal (default), Strict. Pick what matches how caffeine actually affects your sleep, not how you wish it did.

I'm Pro but Pro features aren't unlocked.

Settings → Last Coffee Pro → tap "Restore Purchase". This re-syncs with Apple. If that doesn't work, email me with the approximate purchase date and a screenshot of the App Store receipt if available.

Does Last Coffee track me?

No. Read the privacy policy for the full posture. Short version: no analytics, no telemetry, no third-party SDKs, and no drink data leaves your phone.
